Connings Food Market is a local family business with a passion for growing and providing our community with the freshest produce. We are currently looking for a Manager to run our Appleby store. As the store manager your roles and responsibilities will include:
Leading a team of 85+
Maintaining the culture of “Connings”
Taking time to truly understand your role and how you can help the company and your team
Delegate and elevate appropriately
Clearly and effectively communicate
Hold effective meetings
Recognise and reward the performance of your team members
Lead your team from the front, motivate, support and encourage
Hold your team accountable for their roles, responsibilities and measurables
Think on your feet, make quick decisions and solve problems
Provide exceptional customer service
In the Store Manager role, you’ll be accountable for the following measurables, and will need to demonstrate experience in:
Reading and understanding a P&L statement
Monitoring and maintaining gross margin and net margin
Delivering employee & customer satisfaction
Overseeing multiple departments
Experience with product buying and maintaining vendor relationships
Delivering business growth in prior roles
