WHERE IS YOUR PRODUCE GROWN?

The majority of our produce is grown on our own farm blocks. These are all within an 8km radius of our store. The rest of our produce we source from local and New Zealand growers where possible. This keeps our food miles low and our freshness high.


DO YOU SELL ORGANIC PRODUCE?

Yes we do. We have a small range of New Zealand grown organic produce, including carrots, sprouts, salad mixes, potatoes, garlic, leeks and onion bulbs.

Like all produce, these are seasonal so stock may vary.


DO YOU SELL MILK, CHEESE AND YOGHURT?

No we do not. Our main focus is local fresh produce, meat, dry goods and alcohol. We work collaboratively with our neighbours β€˜The Junction’ who provide all of the dairy products you could possibly need. As a store within the Old Factory Corner complex, we have made a conscious effort to work together and support each other.

The Junction are experts when it comes to dairy products so please visit them, just across the car park from us.


I am a sales rep, who do I speak to about stocking our products in your store?

Please email us at orders@conning.co.nz to organise an appointment with our sales team. We are no longer open for drop ins and meetings are by appointment only.


I have lots of plums, would you like to stock them?

We would love to support as many local growers as possible, however if you do not have a NZGAP Certification then you are unable to become a supplier and sell produce through our store. This is to ensure that the produce is safe for our customers.


DO YOU HAVE ANY FOOD SCRAPS FOR MY CHICKENS?

Yes, we sure do. You are welcome to bring your own bag or box and help yourself to the produce scraps that can be found next to the produce chiller and the back of house doors. We are only able to offer you what is there. Please do not enter the staff only area to check if there are anymore produce scraps.


WE ARE A CHARITY, CAN YOU PLEASE DONATE TO US?

We love helping charities out whenever possible, so please get in contact with us directly at hello@conning.co.nz. Please note that we do have a donation cap each financial year and that our policy is to only donate produce that we grow on our farm.


DO YOU HAVE ANY JOB VACANCIES?

Can I order specific meat products through you, like rabbit, wild pork or chicken carcasses?

Yes, we are more than happy to help you out and order in specific meat options when we can.

Please email your request through to hello@conning.co.nz and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please be aware that we need to know at least a week in advance. Most orders are placed on a Monday morning for the week, so before then is ideal.
