At Connings Market Garden, you'll be a vital part of our farm-to-table journey, transforming freshly harvested vegetables into prepared orders for the wholesale markets and our very own, Connings Food Market.

This hands-on role involves organising and preparing our premium produce with care, ensuring each order meets our high standards of quality and presentation. We're seeking an enthusiastic individual who is detail-oriented, physically fit, and passionate about local produce. This is a full time role, with rostered hours 10am – 6.30pm. Weekend availability is required - one half day on the weekends

Due to the nature of the industry, you must be available to work extended hours to meet demands of peak production

• Report to the Sales and Harvest Manager and be an integral part of our post-harvest team

• Enter orders into our company system

• Wash, pack, stack, label and wrap produce ready for dispatch to the markets and Connings Food Market

• Dispatch orders once complete

• Manage and order crates and pallets

• Maintain high standards of quality control and compliance requirements

• Ensure a safe, clean and well organised environment

• Provide back up support for our wider team

• Able to think on your feet and thrive in the ever-changing environment of horticulture

• Physically fit, energetic, and enjoy working as part of a team

• Be process driven and able to prioritise and stay focussed in a fast-paced environment

• Take pride in your work and a willingness to go the extra mile to make sure the job is top notch.

• Good level of computer literacy

• Forklift license an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided
