Your day-to-day responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Lead, motivate, and support the shop team

• Allocate workload and tasks among staff to ensure speed and efficiency in completing duties, while holding team members accountable for their responsibilities

• Assist with initial and ongoing staff training and provide feedback, and recognition

• Assist the management team with the day-to-day running of the shop

• Oversee staff breaks to ensure sufficient coverage and adherence to break policies

• Receive, check, and sign off inwards goods

• Maintain satisfactory stock levels, rotate stock appropriately, and ensure product displays are well presented and full

• Provide exceptional customer service, including handling customer queries, complaints, and refunds professionally

• Accurately process sales transactions, including cash management, payment handling, and end-of-day till reconciliation

• Place product orders as required

• Maintain clean, tidy, and safe work areas in accordance with company standards.

• Facilitate effective communication between shop staff and management, conveying feedback and relevant information 

This role requires availability to work one weekend day.
